Sex is really when intuition and instinct come to create an expression of the self. Is he is looking for some feral fury. The scratches on the portrate are interesting. What are the different ideologies to sex? Are there such "ideologies" that exist? For me, I think the "breed" ideology fits his approach.
For purposes of this photo, it portrays an art and just as any painting, it used what was available to capture the eye of the beholder, thus, it was manufactured and created resulting in the final product, the photograph.
