What is being "woke"? Is it not about being aware. Awareness allows people to come up with innovation. It serves to create the new and challenge the controversial.
For purposes of these photos, it portrays an art and just as any painting, it used what was available to capture the eye of the beholder, thus, it was manufactured and created resulting in the final product, the photographs.
