Conciousness raising. What does it mean. It means that this is an exclusive. Exclusive what? Exclusives mean that this person can't be found anywhere else. Conciousness raising means that this individual has self worth and self assertion in a bid of self-determination against possibly a larger interest group or community. For purposes of these photos, it portrays an art and just as any painting, it used what was available to capture the eye of the beholder, thus, it was manufactured and created resulting in the final product, the photographs.
