For me the "eye of the beholder" is the "eye" of the spectator owner. What does this beholder seek? I'm sure he wants amy. This individual looks to take the "hottest moments" wherein it serves to help others in their quest to find affection.
For purposes of this photo, it portrays an art and just as any painting, it used what was available to capture the eye of the beholder, thus, it was manufactured and created resulting in the final product, the photograph.
