Words make up a phrase. A sentence is composed of words and it becomes a phrase or details a phrase. A phrase however has a symbolic meaning. A phrase is differentiated from a sentence in that phrases are used to capture the individuals imagination (such as a quote) while sentences intrigue logic to make inteligible paragraphs.
For purposes of these photos, it portrays an art and just as any painting, it used what was available to capture the eye of the beholder, thus, it was manufactured and created resulting in the final product, the photographs.
